Biography
Assistant Professor at the Institute of Geography. He is a Geographer and holds a Master's degree in Geography and Geomatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research is rooted at the intersection of Political Ecology, Digital Geographies, and Digital Nature, with a focus on how digital technologies (re)produce multiple natures, mediate conservation and environmental governance, and shape particular relationships with nature and 'natural spaces'.
He has been recognized with the Teaching Excellence Award (PREI) for his performance as a UC professor. For his research, his doctoral thesis was awarded the Thesis of Excellence by the School of Environment, University of Auckland.
