Biography
Catalina Contreras is a Geographer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a Master's student in Geography and Geomatics at the same university. She is a member of the UC Atacama Desert Center (CDA UC). Her research interests include the potential of fog as a water resource and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for decision-making and territorial planning. She works as an academic assistant in undergraduate and continuing education Geography courses at UC. She is also a Master's student at the Millennium Nucleus Center for the Integrated Development of Territories (CEDIT).
