Biography
Ana Caroline Avanco is a PhD student in Public Policy at Universidad Mayor, a Master's student in Public Policy at Universidad Diego Portales, Chile, and a Master's student in Metropolis in Urban and Metropolitan Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain.
She is currently studying the water governance model in Chile, focusing on the management of Water User Organizations (WOUs) and determining the impact of Law No. 18,450 on the Promotion of Investment in Irrigation and Drainage Works on river flow levels. She is also a thesis candidate for the Fondecyt Regular Project, "Ethnography of the State and the Production of Socioecological Inequalities: Analysis of Environmentally Relevant Policies in Contemporary Chile."
